Marketing Plan

This marketing plan is designed for and by Ilse Fortin Duarte from Honduras. My native language is Spanish, but I also can speak French and English. Hopefully I will add Chinese to that list really soon.

My current background is Computer Sciences and I have been working as Web Programmer for the last year as my main activity, though I’ve made several researches on Podcasting and Web 2.0 technologies.

Mission
Become a leader, working with the new rising technologies and making the best use of them.

Goals
Take the best advantage of the opportunity of studying in Taiwan to become a better professional, and be able to return home with great skills that will help me be better for my country and for myself. Learn as much as I can about the Taiwanese culture and the business world, this way I’ll be able to combine that knowledge with my current ones in order to get a wider range of opportunities.

SWOT Analysis

Strength
Open to new ideas, creative, young, determined, persistent, positive attitude, not scared to take a risk.

Weakness
Lack of experience in the business world, easily distracted, difficulties on expressing my ideas and thoughts.

Opportunity
New experiences, new knowledge, new researches, experience on the managing atmosphere, working with a technological point of view, new culture, different background’s opinion and experience to learn of, different environment.

Threats
Culture differences, lack of communication because of the language, homesick feelings.

Course of Action
I will start by studying hard on IMBA program, focus on getting the experience and knowledge of the business world of today. I will try to get as involved as I can with the Taiwanese people and culture, in order to absorb the best of it and be able to search the way to apply them to the Honduran culture and get ways of improving its deficiencies.

I command you for taking the IMBA class in Taiwan. Homesickness is a normal feeling. We are made up of flash and blood. Try to get hook up with the 2 Taiwanese classmate of yours and get them to take you out to places in Taiwan.
Your IT experience may be help to all of us (including me) so share your knowledge and make this class the best there is.

I really enjoy watching ElfYourself and agree with George that, your IT orientation would be of great help to those of our ilk. I hope the doors are open.
Being a risk taker, you will make many breakthroughs in the near future. But don't be laughing before your peers in times of failure...joke.
